About Bahia Rica
Bahia Rica is privately owned by a Norwegian couple, whose purpose is to offer a memorable stay in Costa Rica in a real jungle setting. The Gulf of Nicoya is the perfect place to offer this, and at Bahia Rica the combination of comfort and rustic jungle is perfectly balanced. This balance integrates services, nature and animal experiences, sports and recreational activities - all in one place.
Safety and responsibility
The interest in safety procedures, cancellation policies and tourism guidelines is something most people travelling have. Bahia Rica participates in sustainable tourism policies and follows guidelines to protect our environment. We operate under and comply with Costa Rican laws and regulations, and not least we feel responsible that all our clients have an enjoyable and safe expereince with us.
Sustainable tourism
Bahia Rica Adventures creates much needed jobs in the small community of Punta Cuchillo and the nearby little town Paquera. When we organize trips in this tropical paradise, we have a responsibility. Any trip affects our environment and the places we visit. We are therefore very keen to show respect for the local nature and culture - and to limit the footprint we leave behind us.
