It is located in a non-touristy area; the neighbors are all fishermen. The house is just 200 meters from the water on each side, however the beaches close to the house are very small tidal beaches (meaning that when the tide is up, the water comes all the way up to the rock wall). There is a bigger palm tree beach, Playa Langosta, on Isla Cedros about 15-20 minutes’ walk along a trail - or a quick boat ride with Beto.
The water is good for drinking, so you do not need to bring water.
Make sure to pick up groceries ahead of time as there are no stores on the island. There are a few restaurants close by or just a short boat ride from the house:
Boat transport to and from the island on your arrival and departure day is included in the price. The on-site caretaker, Beto, is happy give you additional boat transfers against a fee. Be sure to arrange boat transfers with Beto ahead of time, as he might not always be available. There are no roads or cars on this island.
